Ulu Temburong: a heavenly rainforest

A unique heaven for wildlife lies in the remote Temburong district of Brunei, protected within the large Ulu Temburong National Park.

It is one of the oldest and most diverse rainforests in the planet, it was never logged, it is totally pristine and today represents one of the last existing references of old-growth virgin rainforests, as they used to be, before their sistematic destruction worldwide.

This is a place many scientists dream about, where new species of animals and plants are discovered on a regular basis and many more wait to be classified.

Rainforest like this are quickly vanishing around the world and require our urgent attention.
